Ethan Lazar received his B.A. from Columbia University and his J.D. from New York University School of Law. In addition he conducted extensive research in international terrorism and security during tenures at both Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Columbia University. Mr. Lazar is a member of the New York and Florida Bar Associations.

Mr. Lazar practiced law with the firm of Dryer and Traub before becoming Vice President and General Counsel for The Cambridge Companies, a real estate development, management and construction firm. While at The Cambridge Companies, he oversaw the development and management of several buildings and hundreds of rental and condo units in the greater New York metropolitan area. After finding general dissatisfaction with the quality of the doorman and concierge services that were available in the marketplace, he concluded that Cambridge would have to provide these services in-house.

Within a short period of time, there was a demand for these quality services from other management companies, so in 1987 Mr. Lazar founded Cambridge Security Services Corporation, a doorman and concierge provider servicing New York City. Over the following years, Cambridge became a full-service security guard company providing doorman and security guards services throughout the Northeast. Cambridge eventually became a national player, competing in many states throughout the country.

In 2008 Mr. Lazar opened our first Florida office in Fort Lauderdale. Two years later Mr. Lazar relocated his family from New York to Palm Beach County and our Fort Lauderdale branch office became our new corporate headquarters.
