Especially on Veterans Day, Cambridge Security would like to recognize and thank all veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.

Our Veterans hiring initiative, the “America’s Heroes Program,” enables us to target veterans who are a natural fit for our organization. Veterans exhibit many of the core values we practice and nurture- confidence, integrity, decisiveness, teamwork and professionalism.

As a proud employer of veterans, we started a tradition several years ago to highlight one of our employees who served in the in United States Armed Forces in recognition of Veterans Day. This year, we have chosen Stephan A. Nowicki, who joined Cambridge as our Director of Security at Old Palm Golf Club, upon his retiring after 22 years of service in both the US Army and US Navy. Steve exemplifies the skills and leadership qualities that we pride ourselves on and lives Cambridge Core Values every day. Thank you Steve!

Steve enlisted in the US Army in 1984 and was assigned to the 82nd  Airborne Division where he served as a peacekeeper in the Multi-National Force and Observers (MFO) in the Sinai Peninsula. During his tour with US Army he served in both the Military Police and Infantry.

After the terrorist attacks on September 11th Steve re-enlisted in the US Navy Reserves as an Intelligence Specialist serving in both Europe and the Middle East. His work during Operation Iraqi Freedom as a lead interrogator for the Navy Seals was invaluable and produced over 300 intelligence reports that helped bring many terrorist operatives and leaders to justice.

Following his tour in Iraq, he spent several years in the intelligence field of the US Navy as a Senior Analyst. In 2016, he was selected as the first ever Reserve Officer to serve as the Command Duty Officer and Alpha watch team commander, which is the most senior watch position at the Joint Interagency Task Force South (JITF-S). This task force is responsible for the detection and monitoring of illicit trafficking as well as dismantling any threats to our national security in this region of the country.

Steve is also a retired Detective Sergeant with the Michigan State Police of 26 years. Steve’s wife, Tina, a former Federal Police Officer for the US Navy is our Director of Security at Jupiter Hills.  And keeping things in the family, both of Steve’s children are MP’s in the US Army. What a legacy.
